Reason: Tripped NGCP Corella-Catigbian 69kV Line Affecting Tubigon and Sagasa Substation
BOHECO I has received information from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) that an unscheduled power interruption occurred, affecting the areas listed above.
Please note that NGCP and BOHECO I are separate entities:
• NGCP operates and maintains the transmission lines that deliver high-voltage electricity from generating plants to substations.
• BOHECO I, on the other hand, is responsible for distributing power from those substations to your homes and communities.
This interruption was caused by an issue within NGCP’s transmission system, which is outside BOHECO I’s distribution network. Rest assured, we are closely coordinating with NGCP to ensure power is restored safely and at the soonest possible time.
Safety Reminder: Always treat power lines as energized at all times, and please take necessary precautions. Power may be restored without prior notice once NGCP completes restoration work.
We understand how inconvenient this situation may be, and we sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and trust as we await NGCP’s official advisory.
